Health Strategy for the Resumption of PROFAN’s Training activities
Faced with the many impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, people who use or have used substances are more at risk of opioid overdoses than ever before. At a time when the national overdose crisis is reaching a sad record numbers of deaths, it is crucial to reach out to the community sector and its users, their families and friends to raise awareness and equip them with the tools to save lives.
To achieve this objective, the organizers of the PROFAN 2.0 training program opted to maintain face-toface training courses, adapted to the current health context. The implementation of a health strategy will ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for everyone.
